Package Insurance

Package Insurance is available so you can claim back the value of your package if it gets lost or damaged in the mail.

Make sure to add insurance to your initial purchase as you won’t be able to add insurance after I’ve already sent the shipping invoice!

You need to input the ‘maximum declared value’ you want for your package. This is the value that will be written on the customs form and will be the maximum you can claim back if your package gets lost.

If the real value of your package is less than your selected value, then I will put the real value of the goods on the customs form.

Please note that the higher your declared value, the higher your chance of being charged customs fees.

To avoid being charged customs fees, I recommend you check what the maximum value of a gift can be in your country without incurring fees and pick your declared value appropriately. All packages I send are marked as gifts regardless of shipping method.

I am not responsible for any customs charges you may get as a result of the declared value that you selected.

If you have some loyalty points saved up, you can use them to purchase Package Insurance. In order to do so, please do the following:

1. Visit the 'My Rewards' page in your profile

2. Click 'Get Coupon' for the relevant reward

3. Copy the coupon code

4. Apply the coupon code at checkout 

Note: You still need to have Package Insurance in your cart for the coupon to apply.
